What do you do with four empty shipping containers and 150 years of rail history? You call Wonderlab.
KiwiRail were celebrating 150 years of rail history in New Zealand and only had six short months to organise a travelling exhibition for the planned events. It needed to appeal to trainspotters, general public and business customers alike.
We designed four 20 foot mobile, side-opening container spaces, with the overall-theme “MOVE”. Each one covered one area of rail: tourism, history, economy and safety and included educational and interactive displays.
KiwiRail considered the exhibition a huge success with high attendance levels across the country and PR exposure in the millions, via press, radio, online and TV coverage.

Wonderlab removed the pressure from our shoulders and put it carefully in their hands by working with suppliers, content managers and production teams. They hit every single target and on some occasions went beyond what was asked. My impression was that they cared about my project.
The result was amazing, amazing, amazing! Wonderlab worked tirelessly to deliver!
